The project showcases environment friendly organic-based onion production by
incorporating S&T interventions and technologies from the CLSU RM-CARES to reduce
production cost and to cope with the high prices of inorganic fertilizer and pesticides generally
used in conventional onion production.
The research which was conducted in four cropping seasons in a certified organic farm
aimed to determine the performance of modified organic dapog as an efficient method for
organic rice seedling production.
In order to reduce the potential effect of nutrient deficiency on organic vegetables, this study was conducted. It aimed to establish organic fertilizer management for native bittergourd, tomato, eggplant, lady finger, and green pepper.
This study aimed to identify and characterize at molecular level, the two species of
Trichoderma isolated from carabao manure. It also evaluated the shelf life performance and
suitable substrate for the mass production of the two species.
The project consisted of three major components with main considerations on the
development production system for Aromatic in the agroclimatic conditions in rainfed and
partially irrigated upland area.
