ABSTRACT

Results revealed that plants applied with Siglat fertilizer produced the tallest plants before harvest. The application of Siglat fertilizer and growers compost to the plants promoted the earlier harvesting of tubers.

Highly significant differences were obtained from marketable and non- marketable tubers per plot and computed yield per hectare. The application of Nextgen humic acid, Alnus compost, Growers compost produced higher weight of non- marketable tubers while those plants applied with Vermicompost had the lowest followed by those applied with Siglat fertilizer. There were no significant damage of insect pest and diseases throughout the cropping period.

Cost and return analysis revealed that the highest return on cash investment (ROCE) was obtained from the plants applied with Siglat fertilizer at 10 tons/ha with ROCE at 178.53%.
