EVALUATION ON THE EFFECT OF BASC ORGANIC FERTILIZER AND DIFFERENT PEST MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN ORGANIC CORN PRODUCTION UNDER SAN ILDEFONSO BULACAN CONDITION

Abstract

Evaluation in the effect of BASC Organic Fertilizer and different pest management strategies in organic corn production was conducted at Sta. Catalina Bata, San Ildefonso, Bulacan condition from February to May 2013. IES-Glutinous White Corn OPV from Isabela Experimental Station was used. For initial and final plant height, treatments are not significantly different. Also for number of fully emerged leaves, different treatments showed no significant difference. For corn ear diameter, length and width, the different treatments are not significantly different. No significant difference was observed on damaged ear. Yield of the corn showed also no significant difference.
